I’ve known Alok for ages. We grew up together in Abington. And now he and his family live in Napa, so we get to see them out here on the west coast. The Bose’s came over last weekend. It was pretty great and weird at the same time.
Alok & Maureen were here with their four awesome kids and my mom and Ammamma were here too. It was like all those Indian parties Alok & I used to get dragged to by our parents when we were young. But now we’re the old Indian uncles & aunties.
None of those boring, old Indian parties were like this though. We made our own pizzas, climbed trees, fed the ducks, played follow the leader. It was lots of fun.
